Hi, it’s me!

I’m Mrs Penny. My first name is Hailey and my surname is Penny. Apparently you’re not supposed to trust a person with two “first names” but you’re in luck because I’m a pretty trustworthy kinda gal.

I’m a perfectionist, a day-dreamer, a “sometimes introvert”, a wife, a mum to three little babes and a colour-loving product photographer!

Many moons ago, I started my career as a product designer, designing kids products and toys for various well-known Australian companies (you can read more about that on LinkedIn). For a few years, I also had a side hustle designing my own range of stationery and a rad desk calendar or two.

After becoming a mum in 2017, I really wanted to focus on all of the things I loved and unfortunately I had fallen out of love with the idea of a 9-5 office job. I did however still have a huge LOVE for colour, photography and pretty products. It's this love that fuelled me to launch Mrs Penny Product Photography.

I can honestly say I feel like creating fun and colourful photography is what I was made to do. Perhaps it sounds a little cliché, but it really is my “happy place”.
